The Witch Part 1: The Subversion is a 2018 South Korean mystery action film directed by Park Hoon-Jung and stars Kim Da Mi, Jo Min Soo, and Choi Woo Shik❤.
A young girl is found by an old couple and raised in a small farming town. Their simple life is turned upside down when a group of dangerous and mysterious people come to find her and take her back to a government facility where she escaped from ten years ago.
This is one of those movies where you're sitting there biting your nails and wondering what's going to happen next. There is a big secret surrounding the main character Koo Ja-Yoon. Who is she and why does she have powers that her adoptive parents are apprehensive about her showing? I'm usually good at figuring out what is going to happen next in a movie since I've seen so many and they usually fit certain patterns, but this one has a good twist!

Creep (2014)
Description:
Creep is a 2014 found footage horror movie directed by Patrick Brice (who also plays Aaron in this film), and also stars Mark Duplass (plays Jospef).
Aaron answers a Craigslist ad and drives far from home to meet Jospef's at his family cabin. Jospef tells Aaron he has a tumor and only has 3 months to live. He wants to create a video for his unborn son. Aaron agrees, but things soon turn sinister.
Review:
I have a hard time enjoying found footage movies, but I really enjoyed Creep. Mark Duplass does an amazing job playing Jospef.
He's the type of person who could play Patrick Bateman in American Psycho, or Leslie Vernon in Behind the Mask. I felt like I couldn't trust him, but he was likable at the same time.
Aaron was also a likable character and as the film progressed, it become more intense, which surprised me.
I find with a lot of found footage movies there's a boring long beginning of a character filming random things to get to know them, something scary happens, and then by the end it's a nauseous blurry mess.
I loved that Creep was an intriguing and scary found footage movie. The Peach Fuzz mask terrified me and I really liked the ending.
There were a bit too many jump scare scenes, but overall I enjoyed this movie and I recommend it to everyone who enjoys horror.
